Why join Eucalyptus?

We are building the future of accessible, patient-centric healthcare right here in Australia!

In just 2 years, we've grown to over 100 000 patients across 3 companies. Blackbird, who invested in us, put us among the fastest-growing companies they have ever funded.

What do we do, exactly?

Well, we have built a technology platform to deliver healthcare to Australians with a level of care and depth that brings healthcare into the internet age. We plug into doctors, specialists and pharmacies from all over the country, and our brands (Pilot, Kin and Software) cater for different demographics. Our most recent brand, Normal, is changing the conversation around sexual health and wellness.

How do we work?

Things move quickly here. We like to set goals with the mindset that if we hit them all we haven’t challenged ourselves enough. You’ll be surrounded by a world-class team of thinkers, designers, engineers and leaders who are obsessed with three things:

  1. The health and wellbeing of the average person
  2. Creating personalised, engaging, convenient user-experiences
  3. Making healthcare fun and interesting (because it is)

The organisation is flat and decision making happens regularly and rapidly at every level of the org. We believe too many chefs spoil the broth and ultimately people are given the freedom to make decisions (and mistakes), and learn from the journey. Ultimately, we believe ideas are cheap and execution is more important than anything.

About Kin

Kin is a portfolio company of Eucalyptus.

Fertility feels like an unfinished project for modern women. While attitudes are shifting around a woman’s right to control her own body, the topic of fertility is still laced with taboo and fear. For many, fertility is still a black box. It’s something most don’t think or talk about until it suddenly becomes all-consuming. At that point, we’re left to navigate a confusing maze of misinformation and a fragmented healthcare system.

The fertility journey isn’t always easy or straightforward.

We want to change that.

So we’re re-imaging and building what the ideal fertility experience should be.

At Kin, our mission is to empower women to own the decisions around their bodies and their fertility. We’re building a brand around helping women better understand their fertility and reproductive health, and becoming their own best health advocates.

If you have a passion for improving women’s health and are keen to make an impact, then we hope we’re the place for you.

Job description

Eucalyptus (EUC) is looking for its 2nd Operations PM! The Ops PM role is first and foremost a problem solving role with a generous handful of good old, sleeves-up, hands dirty execution. Ideas are cheap without the follow through, and any one can put a band-aid on a problem. This role is about implementing long lasting change through careful diagnosis, ruthless prioritisation and systematic execution. Brick by brick we are building a more resilient company worthy of the trust that so many Australian’s have given us, and capable of facilitating the incredible growth we are forecasting. The projects range from people management, business case strategy and research, process design, new product research and more.

At Eucalyptus, our brands are built on top of shared infrastructure. That infrastructure consists of technology, supply chain and the people that power them. This creates two challenges - allocating resources between brands and collaboration between teams on a diverse range of projects. As our portfolio of brands grows, these challenges become more complex. Our solution is to take the best practices and learnings from traditional Product Management and apply them throughout Eucalyptus to help us prioritise, collaborate and leverage our output.

Our growing team of operational PMs are the nerve-centre of Eucalyptus’ operational function. They are responsible for steering the ship and ensuring we are deploying our operational team (~35 people) on the highest value work. To succeed, this team needs to:

Eucalyptus is at a critical stage of growth. We have about ~70 team members and expect to have double in size within the next year. We’re looking for someone capable of solving complex org problems whilst trading off short term and long term qualities of that solution. Time is our most valuable resource and thinking about the trade offs between the perfect solution vs the perfect solution for now is critical. Add in the complexity of human beings and we have a multi-dimensional problem set. Then add in the competing priorities inherent in the fastest growing start-up in the country and, well, you have your work cut out for you.

You’ll be expected to work autonomously and with teams. You will be expected to get things done, and be able to point to your impact.

You’ll be expected to build systems that get better over time; to help get the most out of others by giving them structured solutions and frameworks.

This can be a path to senior leadership roles or project lead roles.

Experience required

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be:

You’ll have some (but not necessarily all) of the experiences described here:
