Founded in Australia in 2019, we have now helped over 500K patients globally by combining technology, design and operational excellence to help patients access the best clinical support when they need it - wherever they are.

Our 5 clinics (Juniper, Pilot, Kin, Software, & Compound) focus heavily on personalising the experience for different demographics and are powered by a growing team across 5 countries (Australia, UK, Germany, Japan, and the Philippines).

We’ve raised over AUD$160M in funding from Aussie and Silicon Valley investors who were early backers of Uber, Canva and AirBnb. With plans to launch into several more markets, offline channels, and tackle new conditions.

About the role (What you’ll be doing)

We’re looking for a Mid-Weight Creative with a design or production background who can deliver and lead a high volume of topically relevant and impactful creative that will primarily live on digital channels. You will empower our team to move quickly, constantly try new ways in to connect with the customer, and scale what’s working into fully integrated campaigns.

  • Interpret and answer creative briefs using visual communications and strategic thinking.
  • Identify patient/customer insights to develop creative briefs for the team to execute.
  • Coordinate and help direct visual content and production shoots for Pilot, and ensure all creative output is perfectly on-brand.
  • Experiment with new formats and explore new content opportunities, partnerships and platforms to drive outsized returns in creative engagement.
  • Ideate and brief in new content ideas to our network of social media content creators that will amplify Pilot’s products and insert the Pilot brand into our target demo’s conversations.
  • Understand the basics of digital marketing and use performance and engagement metrics to inform future creative work.
  • Support the growth squad across briefs at all levels, including the development of performance marketing work, production shoots, email marketing, brand marketing, PR and other initiatives.
  • Use cultural events as source of inspiration to create topical content that builds cult brand awareness.
  • Distill complex medical topics into simple and entertaining assets, and produce informative and engaging content that makes healthcare accessible.

About you (Who you are)

Experience required:

  • Have 3 to 4 years of experience with a strong portfolio to match. Working in a media and/or advertising environment (brand, agency, and/or publisher) is highly preferable.
  • On the tools design experience either in graphic design and/or art direction to support team in making ads
  • A track record in generating concepts that resonate well with the target market
  • The ability to pick up on social trends and integrate them into content that aligns with the Pilot brand and audience
  • Good executional skills and an eye for detail

Skills required

  • Concepting - You can come up with unique, on-trend advertising ideas that are differentiated for specific demographics.
  • Content creation capabilities - You can test those ideas by creating lo-fi statics or videos on performance channels. (Meta/YouTube)
  • Data-informed - You can present ideas and tests backed by clear statistics or qualitative insights, not just gut feelings.
